Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit this site and which pages they read, standard aggregate traffic data (pages viewed, general location, device/browser type). It doesn't tell us who you are by name, and we don't cross-reference it against anything else we hold.
The live demo on this page
The box on our homepage that answers questions is the real product, trained on our own published content, the same system a customer's visitors would use. If you type a question into it, that question is sent to our system to generate an answer, exactly as described below for a customer's own deployment.
If you email hello@aisupportagent.net, we have your email and whatever you wrote to us. That's it, no separate mailing list, no automatic newsletter signup from a support email.
The product itself (what a customer's visitors experience)
Questions and answers
Most conversations with the agent are not kept. When the agent isn't confident in its answer, the question text may be retained internally, specifically to find real gaps in a customer's documentation and improve future answers, never to build a profile of any individual asker, and never shared or sold. This mirrors what we already tell customers directly: we don't keep a running record of what their visitors asked.
One customer's content stays theirs
Each customer's help content and any logged questions are scoped to their own account, not pooled with other customers' data. We run the same underlying software for everyone, but a customer's own docs, and anything logged from their visitors, aren't used to answer questions for a different customer.
Payment
This site doesn't collect card details, sign-up happens by email and billing is arranged directly, not through an automated checkout on this page.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and change the effective date above. We won't quietly start doing something different with your data without saying so here.
